Bred By Fortress

Breeding is an extremely emotional endeavor. The biggest fear there is as a breeder, is choosing wrong. We put all of our hearts into each puppy, and feel responsible for the welfare of every pup we produce for his/her lifetime. We have been very fortunate to have had so many amazing, loving homes for our puppies. The dogs on this page are living as they should, being spoiled rotten members of the family.

Lockett has matured into a really lovely girl. Lockett was bred to our Oscar in 2023 and produced two gorgeous puppies – Boris and Vienna.

Huck is our adorable blue-collar boy from Brooke and Brooks' litter in 2015. Huck found his way back to us as a two-year-old after his family was no longer a fit for his larger-than-life personality.

Huck is a kind soul who loves other dogs, cats, and people, but he is also pushy, overbearing and set in his ways. He is a handful to say the least. Huck is incredibly intelligent (especially for a boy) and definitely has a mischievous side, always calculating how to get his own way, keeping us on our toes attempting to stay one step ahead of him.

Because of this, we felt that it was best for him to stay with us and fill the role of "fun uncle". Huck is now almost eleven years old and in amazing shape, loving his carefree, easy-going lifestyle. Naughty as Huck may be, he has a heart of gold.
