MOIRA - BOLO'S RSVP PENDING FOR FORTRESS
APRIL 15, 2022
Moira is my (Lisa) "retirement" breed. I have always been intrigued with the Bouvier breed since I was a kid. When my friend, Sue Leitl of Bolo Bouviers was having her first litter, I couldn't resist the urge any longer. I was there the day Moira was born and immediately was drawn to her. In a litter of 8 beautiful pups, she was the only one I saw. I am not at all what I would consider superstitious or someone who looks for, or believes in signs - but this girl feels like she was sent to me. It is the corniest, must unlike me thing to say, but I can't find any other words that make sense. I love her so much, you'd think she was a Mastiff lol! I am eternally grateful to Sue for letting me have my fuzzy beast.

MOWGLI – MBIS MBPIS GCH RUGERLANE’S LEGEND OF THE JUNGLE HIC
OCTOBER 16, 2018
Mowgli comes from Shannon Chapman of Rugerlane Bulldogs. He had an impressive start to his show career, with multiple Best in Shows, and Best Puppy in Shows, making him the #1 Bulldog in Canada his first year out, in 2019. Mowgli still will make appearances for Specialties, but he spends his days loving the retired life and playing with his friends. We can't thank Shannon enough for entrusting us with his care. He embodies every quality that a truly well-bred Bulldog should be, inside and out.

MILLI - RUGERLANE'S BLAME IT ON THE REIGN AT FORTRESS
MARCH 12, 2025
Our little Milli is co-owned with Shannon Chapman of Rugerlane Bulldogs. Milli is such a funny girl, with a complex personality, let’s say. She is a little prankster and is always up for a play session - whether it's with people, the other dogs, or her cat siblings. She is soft and affectionate, and somehow absolutely wild at the same time! I can honestly say that she makes me laugh every single day. Milli is CKC pointed and took to the ring beautifully. We are very excited to see what this sweetheart does as she grows!

MALIBU – CH XOE'S MILES AWAY FROM ORDINARY
MARCH 8, 2024
Malibu came to us from Leanna Mottus of Xoe Pugs in Edmonton Alberta. Since I can remember, I have ALWAYS wanted a Pug. Boo is the sweetest, funniest, most fun-loving dog I think I’ve ever had, and she was well worth the wait!! She did well and had a blast in the show ring, obtaining her championship relatively quickly – all owner handled! We can’t thank Leanna enough for trusting us with this amazing little girl.

LAYLA - MBVIG CH DISTAFFS SHE'S ALL THAT
AUGUST 8, 2008 - MAY 17, 2023
I fell in love with the Staffy breed when I was very young, and lucky for me – I have an amazing mom who found this perfect girl for me. Layla loved to show, she obtained her championship quickly, had a blast in junior handling with me, and we had the best time in the Veteran ring together! She produced some amazing pups and was the most amazing mother – to her own babies as well as the Mastiffs! Even at 15 years old, losing her left us feeling shocked. She always seemed unshakable and like nothing could slow her down.
We miss you tons, Little Bean.

ROMI
APRIL 11, 2010 - OCTOBER 24, 2022
Romi was a handful of a dog. She loved to be with me and wanted to be everywhere I was. She was the best travelling partner you could ask for and made the drive between Alberta and Ontario with me on a few occasions. If she was an only dog, she was perfect. If she had to share anything...she was...grumpy. lol! I do mean anything...space, food, toys, attention, air...She would have been thrilled to be the only animal on the planet. With very few exceptions, she probably wished that we were the only people on the planet too! She was a bossy, mean, cantankerous brute of a dog that you had to keep constant eyes on, but she was also the one who was take a nap with her flat face smooshed on my cheek, and who wiggled her entire body when she saw me and loved my kids with all of her heart. She was one of those dogs that was an absolute beast, but she was ours, and we loved her very much.

POLAR
APRIL 30, 2006 - JANUARY 24, 2022
Polar came to us as an extremely neglected dog, who was only supposed to stay with us for a short time. Instead - this sweet as can be, absolutely amazing girl was part of our family for 15 wonderful years. Polar loved her family, but she was most attached to my sister Taylor who was only 7 years old when Polar came to us. It was love at first sight for both of them and they were completely inseparable for the rest her days. Losing Polar was incredibly difficult, but we are so thankful that she found her way to us and lived the rest of her life happy, taken care of and loved.
